Challenge

We had to strip all rotted wood from the trim edges of this home.  Rotting wood can easily create many issues for a homeowner. When wood breaks down, the structure can shift and possibly collapse if not caught soon enough.  If an insect has caused the initial issue causing the wood to rot, it can get into other portions of the wood and damage the home even further. 

Solution

Removing all damaged wood and checking that underlayment is still in tact was a critical part of this project.  We were able to remove the pieces and replace them with new pieces before there was any more structural issues!
